Driven by the client’s uncompromising focus on engineering-led structure refined into a sculpted aesthetic, I moved away from a conventional two-part structural base and injection-moulded cover in the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Vanquish projects, developing a single, structural die-cast wishbone solution that elevated a standard Volvo mirror head into a design befitting a prestigious sports car.
